Sri Thripurumallu Ramaiah and a few Arya Vysya community leaders who had political connections have initiated the thought of having a Sri Vasavi Kanyakaparameswari Temple in Parchur, soon they have registered a society and collected donations from the Arya Vysya community from 108 villages/towns in and around Parchur. The foundation was layed in the year 1975. It was completed in the year 1983. Each and every family in Parchur has either contributed monetarily or contributed their dedicated time and efforts.
